I love having local guides. They can explain nuances of the culture that would normally be missed. We learned today that Incheon Airport has no gate 4, 13, or 44 as the numbers are considered unlucky. Four sounds like “death” in Korean. Also the sports players in Korea don’t want #4 jerseys.
