Monday Adventures

My Mother’s Day
Hugh and I went shooting early yesterday along the Persian Gulf, photos still in my DSLR so will share after I download. But we had a nice walk early some before the sun started cooking and steaming us.
Late morning all of us went on a shopping adventure to the Dubai Mall. We missed about 1195 of the malls stores. Need to go back….many of the stores are from the UK and US. Fun to visit Marks and Spencers again, it has been awhile since my last visit in London.

from May 2021 flight to Dubai – With 2 hrs to go, I figured out the Wi-Fi. One of these most turbulent flights I have even taken and coldest! Breakfast delayed, too bumpy.

We are off!!!
From May 1, 2021 On Thursday we drove to LA to get tested for Covid. We could not board flight without a negative test done within 72 hours of departure. Trying to arrange thus in Phx was impossible. But LAX had a testing station with guaranteed results in 5 hours. We booked our tests for Thursday night and had results in 3 hours. Yesterday we watched airport traffic from our room. Today we are off! First time Hugh has seen Julianna in just shybof 2 years.

Squeak and her showers
She needs showers at least twice a day. You can tell by the open mouth, she is telling me to get out. Squeak clearly doesn’t understand we live in a desert.

Hugh and I are planning weekly outings in Arizona until we can start traveling again.
Last week we ventured to Flagstaff to see the snow! Exciting for us, we are definitely desert rats. We both overlooked bring boots.
