Leaving Phoenix November 13, 2022, arriving in London the afternoon of November 14th. The trip over was uneventful. We had about an hour delay leaving Phoenix and arriving in London.

Some of the comfort and familiarity of traveling had diminished after three years without much international travel. We did visit Julianna in 2021, but other than that, we hadn’t traveled during the Covid pandemic. This was a test trip to see what we needed for something and someplace more adventurous.

We arrived in London and wondered how to catch the Tube to London St Pancras station. How many times had we done that??? We managed without too much difficulty to top off our Oyster cards and get on the Tube to St Pancras. Then came the lift conundrum: how to get to street level with all our luggage when multiple lifts were required. Did we have to do that before??? Boy, I miss my memory.
