December 3 was Hugh’s birthday, so we planned our day, mostly around that. We walked over to the Julianna’s London neighborhood and poked around in some of the shops on Camden Passage, Islington’s High Street. There is a wonderful knit shop called The Loop that i love to visit, usually coming out with a bag of yarn or wool as they would say in London. Today I resisted.
Along the passage was another shop window filled with memories of Queen Elizabeth.
We walked on to Thai Square for a late birthday lunch. This is one of Hugh’s other favorite restaurants. He loves Asian food and London has some restaurants that feed his need for it.
After walking around and enjoying a meal we walked back to the flat for some much anticipated birthday cake!
