Waterstones and London's Christmas Decorations

Hugh in front of the Ritz
View from the cafe

After our visit to Greenwich, we stopped by another large bookstore, Waterstones. We also saw some of the Christmas decorations along Piccadilly. Hugh is pictured in front of the Ritz.

We started our exploration with some tea to warm up. It seemed like the English thing to do. The “tea room,” although I think it was called the café, was on the top floor. Outside the window, we could see the Tower of London.

A large display of books about Queen Elizabeth II.

The Bower & St. Luke’s

A new art installation near Old Street Station caught Hugh’s attention, so we visited it after getting off the tube. Dutch artists DeMakersVan created it. The longer you look at it, the more you see. Fun to photograph.

St. Luke’s was close to our Airbnb, so we got to see the light display on the church many nights on our walk from the tube station.
