Our first stop of the day was Al Masmak Palace Museum. The good news, was I could photograph. The building was constructed in the 19th century (the museum says 19th but Google says 14th???) by Imam Abddullah bin Faysal bin Turki bin Abdullah be Mudammad idn Sadud and was part of a palace. Today tells the story of the unification of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Most of the history was lost on me, I enjoyed photographing the details, especially the doors.
