Visited Bear Santuary, waterfalls, weaving, paper making and wood carving center, then on to a couple of temples, and a short trip to see the sun on the Mekong. It was a fantastic day, but I feel every one of my years right now. I loved seeing the weaver and the explanation of making silk. […]
This is a dream fulfilled, and everything I imagined it could be. The pace relaxed, time to hear our guide, Paan’s stories, and lots of time to quiz her on Laos, Buddhism, the plants and animals around us, and so much more. She was a patient listener and teacher. I cannot wait to write up […]
We left Thailand for our journey up the Mekong River, into Laos. It will be two days of cruising to reach Luang Prabang. Larry, the food picture is for you. It was delicious!

Second cooking class today, and introduction to many new ingredients. We started in Ps garden where we got to see many growing. See how many you know.
Up early with hopes of catching the sunrise…

Our first glimpses of the Camargue horses!
Breakfast in Toulouse Working to reeducate myself on how to use my website. This was breakfast at the Toulouse train station after our trans-Atlantic flight. French food cannot be beaten.
