After 16 months of not seeing Julianna, we are finally off to see her. There are more hurtles because of Covid but it is time we took a chance. As we have to have a negative Covid test to enter Dubai and it can only be so many hours old. We decide the safest way to have a valid test is to get it in LA. If we get it in Phoenix, they need a longer processing time and we risk having the test outdate before we land.
Rather than fly to LAX, we drive. We plan to stay an extra day in LA, just to make certain we have the test at the right time and we have enough time to get the results back.
LAX has a testing facility on site. Well it is a truck you walk up to and they swap you. Not too high-tech.

I always enjoy taking photos from the plane window and seeing the sunrise and sunset from the plane.
With two hours to go, I finally figured out the wi-fi, so I could do some posting on the blog.
This was one of these most turbulent flights I have even taken and coldest!
Breakfast delayed, too bumpy.
