I watched in the airport as people waved goodby to each other, curled fingers pointing down, not up. Curled fingers up summons a pet or animal …not another person.  After checking in I noticed my seat assignment.

Thankfully 44 wasn’t unlucky for me….but as it was available when I arrived, clearly all the Korean passengers had avoided that row and seat.
