ZURICH
We spent several days in Zurich walking the streets and taking photos. On our first morning out, we were rewarded with blooming spring trees during a lovely stroll along the Limmat River.

Frauemunster
The above photo shows the Frauenmünster, which dates back to the 9th century, across the Limmat River. The church was built on the site of an abbey that dates back to 853. The church has five stained glass windows designed by Marc Chagall.
To the right is the Grossmunster construction started in the 12th century, and is the symbolic birthplace of the Swiss Reformation. The twin towers are not identical and were finished at different times.
