Upon entering the Museum, we were given a ride to the Future, see video at left.
What had long intrigued me about the museum was the architecture. I took many photos, and these are a few of my favorites.

Our first stop in Dubai was the Museum of the Future Museum of the Future. I had long wanted to visit it, but had been unable to get tickets. This time, we were successful. We started by walking around outside. We ended up behind the Peace Sign sculpture, which proved to be a great location to take some fun and funny photographs of our reflections in the Peace sculpture.
Note: at the time of my booking in 2024, i was unable to buy tickets directly from the Museum’s website. I purchased them through Trip Advisor.

Burj Al Arab
The iconic Burj Al Arab hotel Burj Al Arab Dubai is built on its own artificial island and designed to resemble the sail of a dhow, a traditional Arab sailing vessel. I had previously photographed the Burj Al Arab from afar, at a beach near one of Julianna’s earlier homes, and had long wanted to see it up close.
On this trip, we had dinner at the Burj Al Arab’s Uma Lounge, which is just off Jumeirah Beach. We timed our reservation to watch the sunset over the Persian Gulf.
After dinner, we wandered through the building, taking pictures.
