After driving most of Saturday, we decided to takeSunday offf from sightseeing. We were shocked by the number of tourists in Zion and hoped staying in on Sunday many of the weekend visitors would leave and give us some breathing room.
The strategy worked but Zion is still crowded.
We walked the Narrows Trail then headed back to the lodge for a wonderful lunch of fish and chips and then took the bus back to the Weeping Rock. The driver told us that the water had been carbon dated and was 1200 years old. Now you just have to buck up and walk the steep incline to see 1200 year old water.
Water and reflections are most likely my favorite things to photograph. One reason is how reflections change so quickly as the light changes. These three photos were all shot within moments of each other with some but little changes to the position of the camera.
